You'll also experience some native wildlife! Next, you'll fly to Ayers Rock in The Outback. Switch gears and venture to Cairns, known as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef! Embark on a thrilling catamaran cruise to Michaelmas Cay on the Great Barrier Reef. Day 3. Sydney

Depart from Sydney and travel directly to the Blue Mountains! Your first stop of the day will be at Calmsley Hill, a working farm also home to Kangaroos, Emu, Wombat and Koala. Enjoy morning tea and time to wander at leisure!

From Calmsley Hill, you'll continue to ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway. Along the way, you'll visit one of many stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley. Get ready for breathtaking vistas! Where possible, this tour will avoid the crowds of other tour groups that visit the mountains each day, in order to create a stress and hurry-free environment taking in the views and information imparted by their guide.

Continuing on, you'll arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous Three Sisters. Whilst the Blue Mountains feature so much more than this natural attraction, you can’t help but admire the unquestionable beauty of this amazing rock formation! The Three Sisters change throughout the day and throughout the seasons, as the sunlight brings out unique, magnificent colors. Here, your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time will be available for you to take some great photos.

After an amazing morning, you'll make your way around the mountains to the village of Blackheath for lunch. Dine at the beautiful Hyrdo Majestic and indulge in delicious cuisine while you feast your eyes on stunning views!

In the afternoon, you'll visit a selection of lookouts and scenic viewpoints, like the famous Govetts Leap. Witness the magnificent waterfall as it drops a whopping 600 feet to the base of the cliff! From Govetts Leap, explore the Grose Wilderness, then enjoy a relaxing drink at your last stop, the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens. 

Day 4. Sydney - Ayers Rock

Say "see ya" to Sydney and head for The Outback! Upon arrival in Ayers Rock, you'll be transferred to your hotel. 

Once you're all settled, grab your camera and embark on an afternoon tour of the Kata Tjuta Domes in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park!

This morning you will be collected from your hotel by Seat-in-Coach bus for your half-day tour! The first stop is Te Puia, New Zealand’s living Maori culture center. Te Puia is located in Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley and features more than 500 geothermal wonders, including the exhilarating Pohutu Geyser and bubbling mud pools!

Learn about the rich and vibrant history and traditions of the Maori tribe through a guided tour. Next, drive to the Agrodome, home of the farm show, consisting of gifted and talented animals. Day 17. Queenstown - Mount Cook - Christchurch

Say "see ya" to Queenstown and begin your journey to Christchurch. Along the way, you'll stop in postcard-worthy Mount Cook! There, you'll have time for lunch and independent exploration.

You'll continue your journey through Lake Tekapo, where you'll see the Church of the Good Shepherd and enjoy views of the spectacular Southern Alps. Wind down through Burke's Pass and the Canterbury Plains until you reach Christchurch!

Settle into your hotel and spend a relaxing evening at leisure.

Half-day Christchurch city tour

The tour commences in the central city of Christchurch and covers the area which was completely devastated by the Christchurch earthquakes in February 2011. The guide will explain both the history of the city and the effects of the earthquake, you will see for yourself both the destructive powers of nature and the rebuild taking place. On leaving the inner city, the tour travels to Mona Vale a historic homestead and gardens. We then travel to the Sign of the Takahe, an historic building with a lookout providing spectacular views over the city, Canterbury Plains and to the Southern Alps. The tour then travels via the Port Hills and Lyttleton Harbour by way of the Sign of the Kiwi and Governors Bay to the Port of Lyttleton. The tour proceeds through the Lyttleton harbour tunnel to the seaside suburb of Sumner and cave rock before returning to the central city where the tour will conclude.

Day 19. Depart New Zealand

Squeeze all your souvenirs into your luggage and wave goodbye to beautiful New Zealand. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your journey home.
