Day 1. Welcome to Florence!
Upon arrival in Florence you will take the drive to the Villa Casagrande, your home base for the next six nights. You’ll be surrounded by lovely Tuscan countryside, in a perfect location for sightseeing. Your rental car gives you the flexibility to take day trips to the destinations you've always dreamed of.
Check-in - Villa Casagrande
Villa Casagrande is a 4-star hotel located in the heart of historic Figline Valdarno. The hotel features a spa where guests can book services like a massage, or unwind in the sauna. There are two on-site restaurants that serve traditional Tuscan cuisine, along with delicious cocktails and wine. Additionally, there is a small fitness area and an outdoor pool.
Guest rooms are bright and spacious, featuring a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a TV, minibar, hairdryer, desk, and an in-room safe.
The front desk and friendly staff are available to assist with guests' needs around the clock.
Figline Valdarno train station is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, and The Mall Firenze is 16-minutes away via car.

Start your Tuscan adventure off by paying a visit to explore the city of Florence, where you'll enjoy an amazing guided tour.
Private Florence Guided City Tour with Accademia Gallery (FLR2E)
This walking tour provides an impressive overview of the gorgeous city of Florence, including a guided tour of the Accademia Gallery. Your local and engaging guide will show you the main monuments of the city, including the iconic Brunelleschi's Cupola, Palazzo Vecchio, and the myriad of Romanesque-style churches that dominate the city, as well as Florence’s rolling hills.
Your first stop is the famous Accademia Gallery, known for Michelangelo’s, “David” sculpture, as well as some of his unfinished works of art such as the Prisoners, San Matteo, la Pietà di Palestrina, and other masterpieces. Learn about Michelangelo's tormented life and why his masterpiece has become the symbol of Florence over the centuries.
End the tour with a stroll through Florence's historic streets to arrive in Piazza Duomo, where you will learn the secrets of Giotto’s Bell Tower and discover the magnificence of the Baptistery with its golden, bronze door. Last but certainly not least, your tour will end outside of the breathtaking Cathedral itself.
Day 3. Tuscany
Enjoy the first part of your day exploring the historical city of Lucca. Enclosed within imposing Renaissance Walls, this historical city is the perfect picturesque day trip.
In the early evening, return to the Villa Casagrande for your included wine tour and tasting.
Day 4. Tuscany
Enjoy a tour of Pisa today - don't forget to take a photo "holding up" the famous leaning tower!
Half-Day tour to Pisa
Discover the everlasting beauty of Pisa and its iconic monuments on this half-day guided tour from Florence! After a short drive through the Tuscan countryside, you will arrive in Pisa. Your guide will lead you directly to the medieval entrance gate: Porta Santa Maria. From here, the extraordinary view will take your breath away! You will be in front of a unique panorama: Piazza dei Miracoli with its white, marble architecture and neat grass lawns. A professional guide will share the amazing stories of Pisa as you tour the monuments, and then accompany you on your visit to the precious interiors of the Cathedral, an unchallenged masterpiece of Romanesque art.
After visiting the Cathedral, you can explore independently as you admire the Baptistery, the Monumental Graveyard, and finally - the world-famous LEANING TOWER, discovering all its secrets (please note: admission to the Tower is not included, and would need to be purchased separately). Before heading back to Florence, you will have plenty of free time for fun photo opportunities in front of the monuments! Please note: Admission to the Cathedral of Pisa is now free, and on extremely crowded days the lines may be too long to visit the interior. In such cases, a tour of Piazza Cavalieri will be given instead.
Day 5. Tuscany
You'll have the morning at your leisure. Take a drive through the country or to Arezzo, one of the wealthiest cities in Tuscany. This charming city is stunning yet compact, being ideal for a short half-day of exploring.
Upon returning to the Villa Casagrande, enjoy a fun, hands-on lesson in pizza making!
Villa Casagrande Pizza Making Class
Bring a piece of Italy home with you when you learn to make the country's most famous and iconic dish! You'll get an introduction to the story of pizza and its evolution, and a demonstration of the preparation of the dough followed by the creation of your own pizza. At the end of your class, you'll be able to taste your own pizza!
Day 6. Tuscany
Today consider taking a drive to Siena, one of the most beautiful medieval towns of Italy. Take a stroll to the magnificent Piazza del Campo, then pay a visit to one of the most breathtaking examples of Romanseque-Gothic churches: the Duomo in Siena. This stunning building will have you in awe from the intricate exterior to the colorful interior.
Day 7. Depart Italy
Depart Italy from Florence Airport.
