Enjoy another day at leisure in Crete. Why not spend the day at the island's famous pink beach? Or perhaps make a visit to the island of Spinalonga, as it is the most popular archaeological site in Crete after Knossos.
Don't forget to take advantage of Crete's famous culinary culture - almost every village has their own specialty cheese!
Day 13. Crete - Athens
Enjoy your breakfast, then be transferred to Heraklion Airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, make your way to your airport hotel, for your last night in Greece.
Tonight, indulge in a meal sampling all of the flavors of the country! Snack on cheese from feta to manouri, devour gyros, taste locally-pressed olive oil, and of course, wash it all down with a shot of Greece's famous ouzo.
