Day 2. Vienna
Vienna is known for art and music, so you'll want to soak up some local culture today. Consider stopping by the Belvedere, home to the world's greatest collection of Austrian art, including Gustav Klimt's famous painting "The Kiss."
Or perhaps make it a musical day by following the footsteps of Mozart at the Mozarthaus, Mozart's only surviving Viennese residence, now home to a museum.
Day 3. Vienna
Explore Schönbrunn Palace, one of Vienna's highlights. Surrounded by an elaborate park, the baroque palace is home to the world's oldest operating zoo and the Mirror Room, the site of six-year-old Mozart’s first concert!
After taking in the palace, you'll need a sweet break. Try the famous Sacher Torte at Cafe Sacher, which has been whipping up this iconic treat since 1832, and it is still baked using the original recipe.
Day 4. Vienna
While in Vienna, you won't want to miss a performance at the Spanish Riding School at Hofburg Royal Palace. A timeless relic of the imperial era, the equestrian show is performed by graceful Lipizzaner stallions and set to classical music.Â
Have a bit of fun and enjoy sweeping views of the city from Riesenrad, the giant Ferris wheel built in 1897 for the jubilee of Emperor Franz Joseph I.Â
End the day in MuseumsQuartier, a cultural district home to countless outdoor cafes, restaurants, bars, museums, and shops.
