Day 1. Welcome to Hanoi!
Touch down in Hanoi, where you will make your way through Customs and Immigration. You will be greeted by your guide and whisked off to your first hotel! Settle in and spend your first evening checking out the area around your hotel.Â

Day 2. Hanoi
Begin your first full day in Hanoi in style with a half-day tour of the city following breakfast! Check out the city's best-known landmarks, explore the hidden gems of "The 36 Streets," the enjoy Vietnamese coffee at a local shop.
After, unwind with some plans of your own! Ask around to find out where to find the best place to get some dinner or indulge in the local nightlife.Â
Hanoi Sightseeing Tour (half-day)
Hanoi boasts a magical blend of old-world tradition and modern innovation. Today, you'll explore the best of the city with an English-speaking guide!
Begin the day by passing the Ho Chi Minh President's Mausoleum (only from the outside). Continue on to the Temple of Literature with its walled courtyards and graceful gateways. Founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, this was also the site of Vietnam's first university!
In the afternoon, you'll take a walk through the Old Quarter, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as 'The 36 Streets' - each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics to crafts and from medicines to tombstones.
Enjoy Vietnamese coffee at a local coffee shop during your stroll. Stop at the Ancient House on Ma May Street, an excellent example of traditional Hanoian style architecture from days gone by.
Day 3. Hanoi
After breakfast, the day is yours to seize! Hanoi is packed with tons of exciting ways to spend the day. Consider a visit to the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater to see a puppet performance - a tradition which originated near Hanoi nearly 1,000 years ago!
If you have your heart on some souvenir shopping, head for Dong Xuan Market. Established in the late 19th century, this is the largest indoor market in Hanoi that stretches out over four floors. The lower floors sell meat, seafood, vegetables, and flowers, but the upper floors offer handbags, fabrics, and handicrafts. Â

Day 4. Hanoi - Saigon
After breakfast, grab your things and enjoy a transfer to the airport. You'll jump on a flight and be off to your next destination: Saigon!
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your new hotel, check in, then have the rest of the day to get settled and familiarize yourself with your new surroundings.Â

Day 5. Saigon
After an energizing breakfast, you'll kickstart the day with a tour of Saigon. Take in how the old merges with the new as you learn about the city's history while you visit sites such as the Reunification Palace. After, you'll take in the stunning architecture located in the historic center of the city before completing the tour at the central Ben Thanh Market.Â
Once the tour is over, treat yourself to a massage or a bike tour to loosen up after your travels! Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.
Saigon Sightseeing Tour (half-day)
As Vietnam's largest metropolis, Saigon teems with energy, activity, and motion. Everywhere you go, you will see the convergence of traditional and modern life. Begin the tour with a visit to the Reunification Palace. Formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president, this 60s-era building was famously stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975, signifying the fall of South Vietnam. Unmissable are the original tanks that remain on display near the entrance gates.
Afterward, drive to the city's historic center and visit the Emperor of Jade Pagoda, one of Saigon's signature pagodas. Pay a quick visit to the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, then pass classic European-style landmarks like the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville) and the old Opera House (both of which can only be seen from the outside). End the tour at the central Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts.
Day 6. Saigon
Get creative! Plan your own itinerary in the magnetic Ho Chi Minh City. Perhaps you'd like to opt out of your included breakfast today and start by hunting down the perfect bowl of pho - a traditional Vietnamese breakfast.Â
Later, you may head to the War Remnants Museum. This three-story building offers a comprehensive collection from the Vietnam War. Peruse the exhibits and get a powerful perspective of the Vietnam War.

Day 7. Depart Vietnam
