Day 6. Sorrento
During the next two days you might want to take a trip to Naples and hike Mount Vesuvius, or tour the ruins of Pompeii. Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D. and buried the town of Pompeii in about 20 inches of ash.
Today, the town has been excavated and is on the list of the Wonders of the World. Take a tour of Pompeii and you will see the Baths, Forums and Villas.
