Founded in 841, Dublin combines the historic delights of an old city with a vibrant contemporary scene. Attractions range from landmarks and monuments dating back hundreds of years to cutting edge museums. Tour a 13th-century castle, study the work of contemporary artists, explore a Viking warship, learn about some of the world's most famous authors, or just sit back and enjoy a pint of Guinness.
