You'll then travel back to Belize to San Pedro. Enjoy some leisure time here, but only after you've taken a flight over the Blue Hole! This spectacular attraction is best viewed from the sky. At the end of your trip, you'll fly from San Pedro to Belize International Airport, and fly home from there!

Day 1. Welcome to San Ignacio, Belize!
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Check in, freshen up, and let the fun begin!

Day 2. San Ignacio, Belize
Today, you will experience a Mayan ruin tour, with cave visit and lunch!
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Caracol Mayan Ruin tour & visit to Rio Frio Cave and pools with lunch
Enjoy the flora and fauna filled scenery along a forest trail, giving you the experience of a life time as we recount the history of nobles and peasants living in a mystic world.
The trees and forest guard the secrets of the place where Maya ancestors once gazed at the stars, plotted wars, designed and built magnificent structures, developed agricultural practices and conducted their most sacred rituals. You will visit ancient courtyards, ball courts, residential complexes and a complete astronomical observatory.
The largest of the structures is Caana measuring 43 meters in height, making Caracol the Largest Mayan Ruin in Belize. On your way back from Caracol, you will have another little adventure stopping by the Rio Frio Cave and Rio on pools of the Mountain Pine ridge. Here you can jump in for a swim and relax before returning to your hotel.
Day 3. San Ignacio, Belize - Flores, Guatemala
This morning, you'll be taken to the Belize/Guatemala border to meet your Guatemalan guide! Take a tour of Yaxha Archaeological Site. Then, you'll be transferred to your hotel.

Yaxha Archaeological Site
Yaxha, meaning "green water", is located 73 km from Flores. This Mayan site, discovered in 1904 by architect Teobert Maler, is situated within the Mayan Biosphere Reserve along the sites of Nakum and El Naranjo. From the major pyramid you can enjoy a great view of Yaxha lagoon, and another Mayan site called Topoxte. Receiving fewer visitors than other sites, Yaxha remains peaceful and there are wonderful wildlife watching opportunities. The sunset on top one of the temples on a clear day is simply stunning!
Day 4. Flores, Guatemala
Take a tour and go snorkeling at the Blue Crater today!
You'll return to your hotel in the early evening. Find a delicious-looking restaurant for dinner tonight!
Blue Crater Snorkeling Excursion with lunch
You will be transferred to Sayaxche (approx. 1hr). Then, you will take a boat through the Pucte stream. The Blue Crater is located remotely, approximately 1 hr. 30 min. of sailing. On arrival, jump into the water and snorkel in this crystal-clear water sanctuary. The blue color of the water is still unknown, but according to marine biologists who visited the place, it is due to the number of snails that live in the water. Picnic lunch is included.
Day 5. Flores, Guatemala
Visit Tikal National Park today! At the end of the tour, you'll dine at a restaurant in the middle of the jungle!
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Your tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and transfer you to Tikal National Park. Your guide will show you the layout of the temples, architecture, history, some theories of why the Mayans disappeared and if you are lucky a few monkeys, parrots, macaws and toucans will be on site. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the middle of the jungle.
Day 6. Flores, Guatemala - San Pedro, Belize
Today, you'll be transferred to San Pedro, Belize via van and water taxi! Settle into your new hotel and spend the rest of the evening however you please.

Day 7. San Pedro, Belize
Today, you'll fly over the Blue Hole to experience this phenomenon from above!

Flights over the Blue Hole
It is only from the air that you can view the spectacular sink hole that creates different shades of blue in the coast of the Caribbean waters. The Blue Hole is a sinkhole off the coast near the Lighthouse Reef. From above, a spectacular view can be observed as it creates darker shades of blue with the turquoise Caribbean water as the “hole” is formed. It is surrounded by coral atolls which make the circular shape ore defined. Although usually an item on a diver’s bucket list, the greatest way to appreciate the view of this natural phenomenon is by an overflight.
Day 8. San Pedro, Belize
It's the final day of your trip! Spend it relaxing at your hotel, shopping nearby, or checking out local attractions!
Day 9. Depart Belize
You'll be transferred to the San Pedro airstrip for a local flight to the Belize International Airport. Then, you'll catch your flight home!
