At Great Value Vacations we have always supported the freedom to travel.
During the current international crisis, we stand with the brave people of Ukraine against the unwarranted and unconscionable invasion of their country by the current Russian government – not the people of Russia.
In solidarity with the Ukrainian people, we have stopped selling vacation packages that include any Russian destinations. Travel to Eastern Europe remains safe and secure, with attractions, activities, and events open and as usual. Feedback from our partners in destination is that tourism, as well as daily life, is calm and proceeding as normal. As such, our Eastern European trips remain open for sale and operation.
This situation truly hits home with us as we have (and have had for many years) offices in Kyiv where many of our support and technical staff make their home. We are in touch with them every day and we are all moved by their bravery and dedication both to their country and to the continued support of our clients. These are truly amazing people.
