Day 1. Welcome to Sarapiqui!
Feel a flutter of excitement as you land in sunny San Jose! Pick up your rental car and make your way to the Sarapiqui Rainforest area. On the way, consider a stop at the Palmitour restaurant for a delicious bite and to learn a bit about the heart of palm.

Check-in - Ara Ambigua Lodge
Ara Ambigua Lodge is an oasis located on almost 20 acres of land, offering guests many activities and comfortable guest rooms with private balconies. Ara Ambigua Lodge has three swimming pools for guests to enjoy, two for adults only and one for families with children. On-site, there is the restaurant La Casona offering international and national cuisine, and also a pizzeria. Head down to the hotel bar for happy hour from 4 to 7 each evening!
Day 2. Sarapiqui
Tuck into a delicious breakfast, then get to know this rural area. Consider a visit to La Tirimbina to treat yourself to a guided nature walk, a canopy tour, horseback riding, or even a chocolate tour.
Day 3. Sarapiqui
It's your last day in Sarapiqui! Consider spending the day on a waterfall hike, floating down the Sarapiqui River, or bird-watching.
Braulio Carrillo National Park, La Selva Biological Station, and Sarapiqui Protected Area are all protected areas where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the tropical rainforest and soak up the exotic environment around you.
Day 4. Sarapiqui - Arenal
Wake up and recharge with an energizing breakfast! You'll need it for the full day of adventure that awaits you. On your scenic drive to Arenal, consider a stop at a pineapple plantation to sample the local produce.
Once you've reached your hotel, grab your camera, lace up your shoes, and explore! Snap tons of photos of breathtaking landscapes and discover the overwhelming beauty that surrounds what was once Costa Rica's most active volcano.

Conveniently located for sightseeing the Arenal Volcano, Kalambu Hot Springs and La Fortuna Waterfall, San Bosco Hotel is the perfect spot for all travelers. Day 5. Arenal
Feel immersed in the tropical greenery that surrounds you from the very moment you wake up. Today, hike through Arenal Volcano National Park! Consider visiting the magical La Fortuna Waterfall, Proyecto Asis, and the many free natural hot springs that fill the area.
For a little extra adventure, you might want to check out some of the amazing activities offered in the area. Zip-line over the beautiful scenery or try your best at white water rafting!
After an exciting day, head to the charming town of La Fortuna and treat yourself to a delicious dinner of local flavors.
Day 6. Arenal
If you're ready for some sloths, unleash your wild side at Proyecto Asis, a wild animal rescue center! You could also visit Arenal's famous Hanging Bridges. Walk the trails, paths, and bridges to enjoy the forest and magnificent views of the volcano.
Day 7. Arenal - Manuel Antonio
Today you'll head to Manuel Antonio on the Pacific Coast, one of the most popular beach destinations in Costa Rica. Along the way, you may enjoy a stop at Carara National Park - a world-renowned birding destination.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day on Manuel Antonio's two amazing beaches, Playa Manuel Antonio, on the ocean side, and the slightly less visited Playa Espadilla Sur.

Check-in - Si Como No Resort & Spa
Guests will be in paradise while enjoying two swimming pools, with a waterslide, hot tubs and swim-up bars. There are complimentary beach shuttles throughout the day, and the hotel is only a three-minute walk to dozens of local restaurants, bars, and shops. If travelers prefer to stay on the property, they can dine at two open-air restaurants at Si Como No Resort & Spa. Each guest room has a balcony overlooking the gardens or Pacific Ocean.
Day 8. Manuel Antonio
Head out for another beautiful day at the beach or do some exploring at Si Como No's private reserve. Spot butterflies, caimans, and turtles as you kayak, raft, hike, or treat yourself to a catamaran tour!
Day 9. Manuel Antonio
Treat yourself to a luxurious morning enjoying breakfast and the hotel facilities. Today, why not visit Manuel Antonio National Park? Sail the sea or snorkel in a secluded bay. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the beach or visiting the seaside village of Quepos.
Day 10. Depart Costa Rica
Your Costa Rican adventure comes to an end today. Return your car to the San Jose airport and fly home.
