Day 1. Welcome to Belize City!
Land in Belize and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in the Cayo district. The rest of the day can be spent at your leisure. Rest up or venture into San Ignacio town to experience the array of bars, restaurants, and invigorating nightlife.Â
A Tip For Your Trip: The arrival transfer from BZE to your hotel in San Ignacio will be approximately 2 hours long.

Check-in - Midas Belize
Unwind among rainforest settings with the Macal River running nearby, and the center of San Ignacio just a 10 minute walk away from the Midas Belize. Guests can enjoy beautiful grounds with a hot tub, a swimming pool, lovely gardens, an on-site restaurant, a bar, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and assistance to a visit the nearby Mayan ruins, bird watching excurtions, horseback riding, and more!
Rooms are set up in charming cabins of villas and suites, featuring air conditioning, cable TV, a ceiling fan, a ahirdryer upon request, a safe, cheery decour, a terrace, and private bathrooms including complimentary toiletries. Some rooms also include a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a sitting area.
Day 2. San Ignacio
Venture into the ancient Mayan cities of Xunantunich, which means lady of stone, and Cahal Pech, which means place of tics. Cross the Mopan River on a hand-cranked ferry to get from Cahal Pech to Xunantunich and sample the local flavors with lunch in the village of Succotz. The rest of the evening can be spent at your leisure.

Day 3. San Ignacio
Venture into the Actun Tunichil Muknal cave system for a full day of discovery! To get there, you'll start with a short jungle hike, swim into a cave, then wade through an underground river. Once you're in, you'll get to see crystal formations, shards of pottery abandoned by fleeing Maya, and even skeletal remains.Â
Day 4. San Ignacio - Placencia
Today you'll plunge into the Inland Blue Hole, an idyllic swimming spot which is fed by cool mountain water in Blue Hole National Park. Just off of Hummingbird Highway, this small national park has trails, caves, and plenty of opportunity for photos! After that, you'll tour the Marie Sharp hot sauce factory, where you'll get to sample hot sauce and jams before you continue on to Placencia.Â

Lary Beya is nestled in the Placencia Peninsula, offering guests a choice of a wealth of options for activities on and off-property. Take a short walk into Seine Bright or venture further into the town of Placencia, where you can immerse yourself in local fun and flavor. Take a dip in the Inland Blue Hole. An artisan well with gorgeous blue waters flowing to the surface, a swim in this scenic stop will revitalize you. A stream from this swimming hole flows toward a cave, then continues its journey underground.
Day 5. Placencia
You'll start the day traveling to a remote village on a scenic boat ride. At the entrance of Monkey River, you'll order lunch then head upstream on a guided tour to learn about the wildlife you pass then venture into the jungle to meet some howler monkeys. Return to Monkey River Village for lunch, then return to the boat for manatee watching before you head back to Placencia Village.Â
Day 6. Placencia
Take a day to explore on your own! Placencia is known for its laid-back atmosphere, the narrowest main street in the world, and the best restaurants in Southern Belize. Go for a swim with whale sharks at the Gladden Spit Marine Reserve, do some offshore fishing, or stretch out in the sun. The day is yours to do with as you please!

Day 7. Placencia - San Pedro
Following breakfast, you will be taken to the Jaguar Paw area via private transfer and make a stop at the Nocho'een cave system. Here, you will hike to the Mayan caves where you will float through the caves on your own oversized inner tube while the guide teaches you about the cave and its history. After, you will continue to Belize City, where you will board a flight to San Pedro, where you will check into your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.Â

Day 9. San Pedro
Snorkel the second largest barrier reef in the world in Hol Chan National Park. Strap on a mask and hop into Shark Ray Alley, where you can swim among harmless nurse sharks and southern stingrays. Once your swim has come to an end, you can spend the evening at your leisure.Â
Day 10. San Pedro
Take advantage of an itinerary-free final day in beautiful San Pedro. Today's a great day to check off any bucket list items you have like sampling the chocolate at The Belize Chocolate Company, parasailing across the reef, sunning yourself on Secret Beach, or anything you want to check off the list before you head home!

After breakfast, you'll take the 20-minute domestic flight back to the Belize City International Airport, then head home!Â
