Day 1. Welcome to Bali!
Greetings from Bali, Indonesia! Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you’ll be met by an ICS Travel guide, carrying a sign with your name.
You'll receive a welcome packet including all necessary documentation and vouchers, and all contact information for your guides and local offices. Your guide will then accompany you to your hotel.

Day 2. Legian
Today you will enjoy a full-day tour to the Balinese midlands, where you'll see ancient temples, colorful markets, rice terraces, and a UNESCO-certified irrigation system.
Bali Midlands Tour with lunch (full-day)
Discover the natural beauty and ancient relics of the Balinese midlands! Meet your guide and start the day with a visit to Pura Taman Ayun, the 17th-century temple of Mengwi set amidst ponds full of lotus blossoms. The large temples and multi-tiered shrines are surrounded by a wide, elegant moat. Continue to Bedugul, a village in the central highlands famous for its stunning beauty and three lakes.
Stroll through a traditional market with a myriad of fruits, vegetables, orchids, exotic spices and souvenirs. At the nearby Lake Bratan, take a photo of the Ulun Danu temple, built on small islands in a serene lake. After lunch in a local restaurant, drive south to the famous UNESCO-listed rice terraces of Jatiluwih. Trek through the green-stepped rice fields and learn about the Subak irrigation system preserved by Balinese farmers for centuries.
Day 3. Legian
Today is yours to enjoy in Legian or the nearby town of Kuta. Spend the day lounging on popular Kuta Beach or the less crowded Legian Beach.
Day 4. Legian - Ubud
After a morning at leisure, you will be escorted to your next hotel in Ubud, known as the heart of Bali. Upon arrival, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy a true taste of Balinese culture. Take a stroll through the grounds at Ubud Palace, where the local royal family lives. On many nights you can watch a dance performance here.

Day 5. Ubud
Embark on a full-day tour of east and west Bali where you'll discover the culture, countryside and stunning scenery of these regions. You'll begin the day with a dance performance, followed by Gunung Kawi temple, Mount Batur, and the famous rice terraces.
Volcano, Temple & Terrace Tour with lunch (full-day)
Explore the culture, countryside and stunning scenery of Bali, beginning with a performance of the famous Barong and Keris Dance. This traditional Balinese dance narrates the fight between good and evil and is a classic example of the Balinese way of blending myth and history into one reality.
Drive to Tampak Siring where you'll visit the temple of Gunung Kawi. Set at the bottom of a lush green river valley, these 11th century temples feature 10 rock-cut shrines, called candi, carved into the cliff face. Walk down the temple stairs and take in the views of the terraced rice fields along the way.
Continue to Kintamani, set around the rim of the Gunung Batur crater. Look out over Bali's active volcano, Mount Batur, which soars over 5,000 ft into the sky. In the center is a beautiful turquoise green lake, the largest lake in Bali. After a late lunch in a local restaurant, drive back to Ubud with a stop in Tegalalang to see Bali's iconic rice terraces and enjoy a coffee break.
Day 6. Ubud
Today, head to one of Ubud's best-known attractions: Sacred Monkey Forest. At the end of Monkey Forest Road you will find a lush jungle sanctuary home to a colony of cheeky little macaque monkeys. Enjoy the surroundings, but watch out for your belongings!
If a monkey sanctuary isn't your cup of tea, visit one of Ubud’s many spas to unwind a la "Eat, Pray, Love."
Day 7. Ubud - Sanur
Spend the morning in Ubud then transfer to Sanur, your last stop in Bali on the east side of the island. Take a walk on the beachfront and enjoy views of resorts, beachfront cafes, wooden fishing boats and quite a few elegant old villas.

Located in the heart of Sanur, you'll find an abundance of shops and nightlife in the area near the resort. The Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar features an amazing free-shaped pool, complete with a poolside bar, gym and spa, perfect for getting you straight into holiday mode! And for those who crave the gentle roll of the waves and a Bali beach between the toes, it’s all just a stone’s throw away from this Bali resort.
Enjoy a fine meal at the international restaurant which offers a menu featuring Asian and Indonesian cuisines with seasonal dishes to suit every taste, mornings, noon and night. Day 8. Sanur
Spend the morning in Sanur at Bali Orchid Garden, where orchids thrive in the warm weather and rich volcanic soil. The garden is home to thousands of orchid varieties!
In the late afternoon, embark on your final guided tour taking you to Uluwatu Temple. Watch a dazzling Balinese dance on the temple grounds then enjoy a seafood feast in a beachfront restaurant.
Uluwatu, Kecak Dance & Seafood Dinner on the Beach Tour
Enjoy a visit to Uluwatu Temple, an evening of Kecak dancing, and a barbeque seafood dinner under the stars. In the late afternoon, visit the famous Uluwatu Temple perched on the edge of a steep cliff above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, many of whom can be found roaming the pathways. Keep your belongings close as these monkeys are very curious!
As the sun sets over the glittering ocean, watch a dramatic Kecak Dance or Ramayana Monkey Chant performance at the temple. Wearing traditional checked cloth around their waists, the male dancers chant in unison while depicting a battle from the Ramayana.
After the dance, drive to a scenic beach in Jimbaran for a barbeque seafood dinner. Feast on a succulent seafood like shrimp, grilled fish, squid and clams. Try some kangkung, also known as Indonesian water spinach, and add some heat in the form of sambal, a spicy Indonesian sauce.
Day 9. Sanur
On your last full day in Bali, visit the Museum Le Mayer, where Belgian painter Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres lived and worked. Admire the impressionist paintings from his travels around the world and depictions of Sanur back when it was a small fishing village.
End your Balinese journey by strolling on the beach in Sanur and watching the legendary Bali sunsets.
Day 10. Depart Indonesia
Say goodbye to Bali as you transfer to Denpasar airport for your flight back home. Grab a few last-minute souvenirs before you board the plane.
