Day 1. Welcome to Calgary!
Touch down in Calgary and drop your bags at your hotel. Tonight, set off on foot to explore the neighborhood and nightlife around you!Â

Day 2. Calgary - Banff
Start your day with a guided walking tour of downtown Calgary. After, you'll catch a transfer to Banff, where you can settle into your new hotel and kick back or head out to investigate the offerings of the town.Â

 A peaceful mountain retreat, Buffalo Mountain Lodge is surrounded by 9 acres of towering fir, pine, and spruce trees, yet just a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive from the shopping, nightlife, and restaurants that are on offer in downtown Banff. A favorite visitor pastime is to observe the deer and elk who frequently nibble on the lawn, right outside the lodge’s windows.

Calgary is a blend of a brash frontier town and a lively urban center. This walking tour will provide a unique introduction to the city while you discover what makes Calgary such an exciting place. The tour will introduce the city’s history, public art, sculptures, restaurants, +15 system, and more!
Day 3. Banff
Leap into the fun with a tour of Banff, including a gondola and cruise. After, why not head out for a drink with the locals?

Participants learn about culture, geology, and wildlife while exploring the spectacular sights of the renowned mountain town of Banff. This fully guided sightseeing tour reveals some of the most incredible sights and sounds that western Canada has to offer such as the foothills of the Canadian Rockies (Calgary departures only), Sulphur Mountain, Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain Drive, Surprise Corner, Hoodoos and Two Jack Viewpoint. Included is a trip up the Banff Gondola to the peak of Sulphur Mountain for a 360 degree panorama of the Bow Valley. Complete the day with a historical tour of Lake Minnewanka* Lake Cruise. A light lunch, light snacks and refreshments are included.Â

Day 4. Banff

Visit the most treasured spots in the Canadian Rockies on this amazing excursion through Banff and Yoho National Parks. Experience the evolution of the land and discover how it has shaped the appearance of natural wonders found in these spectacular mountain settings. Highlights of the tour include Lake Louise (except tours departing from Lake Louise), Moraine Lake*, Valley of the Ten Peaks, Spiral Tunnels, Takakkaw Falls*, a BBQ Lunch at Emerald Lake Lodge, a dedicated on-board host, light snacks and refreshments.
*Passengers Travelling in May & June:
Takakkaw Falls road opens mid-June (date varies based on snow conditions). Alternate stops will be organized during this time. The tour goes along the Bow Valley Parkway only during Moraine and Takakkaw Falls road closures. Moraine Lake road does not open until late May (date varies based on snow conditions); alternate stops will be organized during this time. Potential alternate stops are Johnston Canyon, Marble Canyon, Field Visitor Centre, and Natural Rock Bridge. The itinerary will be at the driver's discretion on day of travel.
Day 5. Banff
Ready for another show-stopper? Set off on a tour of the Icefields Parkway and take a stroll on a glacier!Â
Full-day Icefields Parkway Tour including Ice Explorer & Glacier Walk
Prepare yourself for the experience of the Columbia Icefield! Covering an expanse of over 125 sq. miles and reaching depths of almost 1050 feet, this impressive icefield forms one of the largest masses of ice south of the Arctic Circle. Your route along the scenic Icefields Parkway provides a spectacular view, and also includes a trip directly onto the Athabasca Glacier – which represents a substantial portion of the entire ice blanket - in a special Ice Explorer snow coach.
Following your on-ice adventure, you will head over to the Glacier Skywalk. Step out on a cliff-edge walkway where giant glaciers perch above you and the spectacular Sunwapta Valley spreads out below. The Glacier Skywalk experience features waterfalls, wildlife, fossils, and more on an exciting half-mile walkway that leads to a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918-foot drop.Â
Complete tour highlights include Columbia Icefields: Venture onto the Athabasca Glacier on the Ice Explorer, followed by a jaw-dropping walk along the Glacier Skywalk. Saskatchewan Crossing: A rest stop/coffee break and home to Canada's largest postcard display. Mountain Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a hearty lunch with your choice of sandwich at a scenic stop along the Icefields Parkway. Crowfoot Glacier: One of the day's many up-close glacier views. Bow Lake: The headwaters of the mighty Bow River.
Day 6. Banff - Calgary
Today, you'll enjoy a transfer to back to Calgary. While you're in town, you can visit the Calgary Central Library, or even ascend Calgary Tower to steal a few last looks at the stunning Canadian landscape.Â
