Day 1. Welcome to Dublin!
Say hello to Ireland! Arrive at Dublin airport, pick up your rental car and drive to your first hotel in the village of Killenard, County Laois. Before arriving at your hotel, stop in the village of Kildare and use your included discount to buy a few souvenirs!
Check-in - The Heritage

From Kilkenny, drive approximately two hours west to Bunratty Castle just outside of Limerick. This is Ireland's most complete and authentic medieval castle! Finally, arrive in Galway and enjoy your first night in this vibrant seaside city.Â

Kilkenny Castle
This 12th-century castle, remodeled in Victorian times and set in extensive parklands, was the principal seat of the Butler family, Marquesses and Dukes of Ormonde.
Due to major restoration works, the central block now includes a library, drawing room, and bedrooms decorated in 1830's splendor, as well as the beautiful Long Gallery. Pay a visit to the Butler Art Gallery, housed in a suite of former servants’ rooms; here you'll find frequently changing exhibitions of contemporary art.
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park Admission
Be transported to farm life in 19th century Ireland during your visit to Bunratty Folk Park! You will be charmed as you visit the farm houses and cottages and watch the tasks of rural Irish families. Set on 26 acres, this folk park is an uncanny recreation of an old Irish village, down to the furnishing in the shops and homes.
Costumed characters bring the village to life as you watch bakers, policemen, and schoolteachers go about their days. Explore a school, a pub, a grocery story, a hardware store, a post office, and more! Also on site is Bunratty Castle, the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland. Built in 1425 it was restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendor and now contains mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings, tapestries, and works of art which capture the mood of those times. See the best examples of medieval furniture, stroll through walled gardens, and pay close attention to the historical detail that fills the castle.
Day 3. Galway
Today, enjoy a full-day tour to the famous Cliffs of Moher and the Burren!Â
Cliffs Of Moher & Burren - Bus Tour from Galway
Driving along Galway Bay, your first stop is at the fishing village of Kinvara to see Dunguaire Castle and into The Burren, home to 75% of Ireland's native flora and location of numerous ancient monuments. Visits here include the Gleninsheen Wedge Tomb, the 5,800 year old Poulnabrone Dolmen and Ballyalban Fairy Fort - home of little men with green hats and orange beards! Stopping also at Kilfenora to see the famous Celtic Crosses (Irish High Crosses), the tour will make its way to the coastal village of Doolin to stop for lunch (not included) before visiting the 650-feet high, 5-mile-long Cliffs of Moher.
Enjoy stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands and take your time to soak up the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Moher. The return trip to Galway will take you via the Coast Road with views of Connemara & Galway in the distance making a short stop to walk on the lunar-like landscape of the Burren and take in sights such as Leprechaun Head before returning to Galway between 5:30 and 6 pm.Â
Day 4. Galway - Sligo
Spend the morning in Galway before continuing your journey north to County Sligo on Ireland's west coast. It is said the first settlers in Ireland arrived on the north-west coast in present-day County Sligo! Find a local beach and take a leisurely stroll looking out to the Atlantic.Â

Day 6. Sligo - Wicklow
Leave Sligo early today and drive cross country to County Wicklow, known as the "Garden of Ireland." This part of Ireland is beautifully rugged with mountains and dramatic valleys and is home to an ancient monastic site known as Glendalough.Â
You'll also be a short drive from Dublin where you can take advantage of discounted admission to the Guinness Storehouse!

Day 7. Depart Ireland
Your multi-city Ireland vacation ends today. At the appropriate time, drive to Dublin airport, drop off your rental car and head to your departure gate.Â
