Day 1. Welcome to Florence!
Arrive in Florence Airport and enjoy a transfer straight to your hotel. Spend the rest of your day exploring at leisure; consider treating yourself to a hearty bistecca alla Fiorentina (Florentine Steak) to celebrate your first night in Florence!

This walking tour provides an impressive overview of the gorgeous city of Florence, including a guided tour of the Accademia Gallery. Your local and engaging guide will show you the main monuments of the city, including the iconic Brunelleschi's Cupola, Palazzo Vecchio, and the myriad of Romanesque-style churches that dominate the city, as well as Florence’s rolling hills.
Your first stop is the famous Accademia Gallery, known for Michelangelo’s, “David” sculpture, as well as some of his unfinished works of art such as the Prisoners, San Matteo, la Pietà di Palestrina, and other masterpieces. Learn about Michelangelo's tormented life and why his masterpiece has become the symbol of Florence over the centuries.
End the tour with a stroll through Florence's historic streets to arrive in Piazza Duomo, where you will learn the secrets of Giotto’s Bell Tower and discover the magnificence of the Baptistery with its golden, bronze door. Last but certainly not least, your tour will end outside of the breathtaking Cathedral itself.
Day 3. Florence

Pizza & Gelato Making (3:00PM)
A professional chef will teach you the art of making pizza in the oven – also known as “pizzaiolo.” You'll learn how to make dough that stretches to almost paper-thinness, and the trick for a flavorful tomato sauce. With the pizzaiolo, you’ll make your very own pizza, you’ll stretch it, sauce it, bake it, and slice it.
After pizza, it’s time for gelato! The chef will tell you why gelato remains Italy’s favorite dessert while giving an insight into the ‘gelato culture’. You'll get to know the raw ingredients and how to select the best products available. Enjoy a tasting of some of the flavors used in gelato making. It will be such a treat to discover the recipe of the world’s most beloved dessert!
This activity is strongly recommended for families that wish to have children learn about the Italian culture, as it provides an easy and fun experience that will create lasting memories!
Day 5. Depart Italy
You'll head back to America today. A transfer will come pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the airport which will make your departure much easier.
