Day 1. Welcome to Quito!
Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel! There will be a meeting for you to become acquainted with your group leader and fellow travelers. Spend the rest of the day at leisure as you prepare for adventures to come!
Check-in - Hotel Mercure Alameda
Surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars, and shops, the Mercure Alameda Hotel rests in the heart of the tourist area of Quito. The hotel offers delicious meals in either of their two restaurants, a snack bar for on-the-go food, two different coffee shops that will keep you running all day, a 24-hour business center, and a bar to unwind at as the day comes to a close.
All rooms at the Alameda feature a satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a safety-deposit box, free bottled water, a private bathroom and a bathtub. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk away from the Casa de Cultura Ecuatoriana, and is about 20 miles from the Mariscal Sucre International Airport. With free on-site parking available and an airport shuttle for a small fee, this hotel thrives on convenience.

Today, you'll fly from Quito to San Cristóbal Island. This afternoon, you'll visit the Interpretation Center to learn about the history of the Galápagos Islands. Discover the flora, fauna, and conservation efforts, too!

Day 3. San Cristóbal Island
A visit to Kicker Rock is on the agenda today! This is a volcanic rock formation with rich wildlife where you'll have the chance to snorkel!Â
Day 4. San Cristóbal Island - Floreana Island
A speedboat brings you from San Cristóbal Island to Floreana Island today! Stroll along the black sand beach to La LoberÃa, a sea lion nursery! You may wish to swim or snorkel here amidst the white sand beach and beautiful bay.Â
Tonight, you will dine in the Floreana community.
A Tip For Your Trip: The speedboat ride between islands can be quite rough, especially from July to December. Make sure to bring sea sickness medication if you are prone to sea sickness!

Floreana Lava Lodge features 10 cabins, each equipped with twin beds. The cabins all have ocean views, a porch, a reading area, and privacy from neighboring cabins. Day 5. Floreana Island
Today, you'll tour the Floreana Highlands! Watch for wildlife, learn about nature in the area, and then snorkel, swim, or relax on the beautiful beach.

Day 6. Floreana Island - Isabela Island
Today, you'll take another speedboat ride but this time to Isabela Island! This afternoon, you'll visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre! You'll also take a boat tour to Las Tintoreras to watch wildlife, including manta rays and sharks!Â

A flight today brings you back to the mainland and Papallacta. Spend the evening at leisure and find a great restaurant to dine on some Ecuadorian cuisine!

Relax and soak in the steamy spring baths while snow-capped mountains loom on the horizon during your stay at the Termas de Papallacta.
