Day 1. Welcome to Cairo!
Touch down in Cairo! After arriving at Cairo International Airport, you'll meet with your Wings Tours representative who will assist you through entry procedures and customs. You'll then be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Cairo, check in, and have time to rest before your first full day in Egypt tomorrow!

Day 2. Cairo
Today, you'll get a full day private excursion in Cairo to the Egyptian museum, Giza Pyramids and Sphinx (this includes a private car and Egyptologist English speaking guide). The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is the largest Egyptian pyramid, making it one of the most famous landmarks in the world.
Day 3. Cairo - Nile River Cruise
Your Nile River Cruise is today, get excited! You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Cairo airport to head to Luxor. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your cruise and embark on your Nile River Cruise! Settle into your comfortable accommodations, and then enjoy a delicious meal aboard the ship.
You'll then visit the East Bank where you can check out the Karnak and Luxor Temples, then relax with free time on the cruise. Perhaps you'd like to catch a show with your ship's on-site entertainment, or treat yourself to a rejuvenating massage

The recently refurbished M/S Tulip is a luxurious 5-star cruise ship featuring state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. Day 4. Nile River Cruise
Rise and shine, it's your first morning waking up on this dazzling cruise ship! Have a hearty breakfast on the ship, as your day is filled with adventure. You'll discover Luxor's west bank as you explore epic attractions like the Valley of the Kings, which is known to be a royal cemetery for ancient Egyptian and Theban rulers.
Afterwards, you'll continue on to see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari – which is considered an absolute masterpiece of architecture as it's impressively built inside a mountain. Finally, you'll visit Colossi of Memnon, which are two huge stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
You'll head back to the cruise afterwards to enjoy a delicious lunch and afternoon of free time. Change into your swimsuit and dive into the cruise ship's beautiful swimming pool, or simply indulge in some R&R at the upscale spa on-site.
Day 5. Nile River Cruise
You'll wake up in Edfu today, where you'll get to experience another thrilling day of sightseeing! Refuel with breakfast and coffee on the cruise, and then enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Temple of Horus in Edfu. Highly regarded as one of the best preserved temples in Egypt, it was built to worship the falcon-headed god Horus (who was regarded as Apollo in Greek mythology).
Afterwards, you'll get to explore the fascinating Temple of Kom Ombo – unusual for its dedication to two deity's, the crocodile-headed god Sobek and Horus (also called Haroeris).
Relax back on the ship afterwards where you can feast on a delicious meal, check out the cruise's daily entertainment, and watch the breathtaking landscape of the Nile River pass you by. You'll spend the night in Aswan, where you'll continue your sightseeing journey tomorrow!
Day 6. Nile River Cruise
Have a delicious breakfast while admiring views of the river, and then get ready for your adventures of the day. Today you'll get to explore the city of Aswan with an Egyptologist tour guide by your side, who will show you spectacular attractions like The High Dam. Constructed in 1960 by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser, this dam is essential as it protects Egypt from the Nile flooding.
Afterwards, you'll take a relaxing motor boat to Agilika Island, where you'll get to visit the Temple of Philae. Built in 280 BCE, this temple was built in honor of goddess Isis, who was the mother of god Horus. To top off your tour, you'll get to visit The Unfinished Obelisk which was built out of vibrant red granite and was made in honor of the god Amun Ra.
At the conclusion of your day tour, you'll head back to the ship to relax and refuel. Enjoy afternoon tea while admiring beautiful views of the sea passing by you, and treat yourself to your favorite drink at the ship's Piano Bar.
Day 7. Nile River Cruise - Cairo
Today you'll have the opportunity to choose whether or not to take an optional tour of the Abu Simble temples. If you do choose to take the excursion, you'll head south of Aswan to Abu Simbel, which in ancient times was regarded as Meha, to marvel at the temples famously built by King Ramses II. The biggest temple, named the Great Temple, was built in honor of the god Rahorakhty. Ramesses II dedicated the smaller temple to himself and his wife, Queen Nefertari.
After
your tour of the Abu Simble temples, you'll head back to board your
cruise. Enjoy sailing along the Nile River one last time, and then catch
an evening flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your
hotel.

Day 8. Depart Cairo
Your epic Egyptian vacation has sadly come to an end – it's time to pack up your belongings, take your transfer to the airport, and board your flight home.
