Day 1. Welcome to São Miguel!
Touch down in sunny São Miguel! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your first accommodation. Spend the rest of the night settling in and exploring the area!

Day 2. São Miguel
Rise and shine! Fuel up with a pleasant breakfast, then embark on a full-day tour of Furnas Valley, a giant volcanic crater filled with thermal pools, hot springs, and lush vegetation.
Full-day Furnas Tour
On this tour we feel and experience the volcanic origins of the Island in Furnas, a magical place. We start by visiting the Caldeiras da Lagoa das Furnas (Furnas Lake Calderas), a place where we cook the famous “cozido das Furnas” (a very special meal cooked only with the steam of the Earth) and continue with a soft walk that crosses a stream and circles the lakeside. During this walk we have the opportunity to appreciate a variety of endemic flora species. Next we visit the town of Furnas, with its fumaroles and hot springs that contain water with different tastes. Then, we visit the centenery Terra Nostra botanical garden that is famous for its extraordinary collection of native plants on the Azores, as well as others from all over the world that have adapted to the local garden conditions. At the end of the visit you are invited to bathe in an iron-rich hot water swimming pool that has a temperature of 35-40ºC, an exquisite experience! On the way back to Ponta Delgada we stop at several beautiful viewpoints on the North Coast and also at the only tea plantation in Europe where we will be able to visit the working tea factory and have a lovely break to taste the tea.
Day 3. São Miguel
There's nothing better than waking up in São Miguel! Enjoy breakfast, then take advantage of a day at leisure.
You may want to relax with a drink near Port Delgada, or venture out to the island's sparkling lakes, like Lagoa do Fogo and Lagoa das Sete Cidades!

Say "see ya" to São Miguel and hop on a flight to Terceira! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your next hotel.

Explore Angra on an exciting guided walking tour! Start in Alto da Memoria, then descend to the Duque de Terceira Garden. Next, visit the Angrense Theater, Adro da Se Cathedral, and Patio de Alfandega, where the statue of Vasco de Gama is located. You'll continue through rua Direita until your tours ends in Praca Velha's beautiful town hall.
Day 5. Terceira
Grab your camera - this day is about to erupt with fun! After breakfast, embark on a half-day excursion to Terceira's impressive caves and volcanoes.
When the tour comes to an end, you'll be transferred back to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace.
Terceira Caves & Volcanoes Tour (half-day)
Join a professional tour guide on a half-day excursion to caves and craters! Your first stop will be at Miradouro das Veredas, where you will admire striking panoramic views and explore impressive caves, such as the Christmas Grotto.
Next, pass through the "most volcanic" field on the island, the Furnas do Enxofre - which translates to "furnace of sulfur." Continue inside the only inactive volcano on the island, the Algar do Carvao!
Day 6. Terceira
Today is yours! After breakfast, decide how you'd like to spend your day.
You may want to continue exploring historic Angra do Heroismo, or discover the beauty of Algar do Carvao, Monte Brasil, or the Biscoitos natural swimming pools! In addition, consider a visit to any of the breathtaking nature reserves that fill the island.

Day 8. Faial
Prepare yourself for picture-perfect scenery and breathtaking natural wonders. Recharge with breakfast, then embark on a full-day excursion to Pico Island! There's no better way to spend your last day in the Azores than to explore this volcanic hot-spot.

Get ready for a wonderful day filled with natural wonders! Start your your through Pico Island with a stop at Arcos do Cachorro, impressive rock formations where the ocean makes a glistening spectacle of sound and color. Then, continue to the mysterious area "Misterios," known for its volcanic, lava-laden landscapes.
Next, you'll travel south, where you'll find lush vegetation like Azores juniper, Azorean mahogany, and Laurel trees. After lunch, you'll stop at an artisan cheese factory and a winery!

Day 9. Depart Portugal
