Day 3. Manchester - York
Fuel up with an early breakfast, then pack up and embark on your 2-night guided tour of the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District! Arrive at Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station (Store Street) by 9:30 AM. Leave the big city behind and enjoy a scenic ride to the Peak District.Â
In the late morning, you'll arrive in the quaint old town of Castleton. Nearby, you'll explore caves, valleys, and old viaducts hidden between green hills. Your guide will share interesting facts and historical tales as you pass by points of interest.Â
In the middle of the day, you'll stop for lunch in Bakewell, home of one of England's most famous desserts, Bakewell Pudding! After a scrumptious lunch, you'll head to Chatsworth House, a luxurious home with stunning architecture, precious art, and a manicured maze garden.Â
Your exciting day will come to an end with an overnight stay in York!

Day 4. York

After Goathland, your next stop will be Whitby. Explore an old ruined abbey, climb stone steps curving around breathtaking viewpoints, and take photos from a lovely little beach. From Whitby, you'll travel to Robin Hood's Bay. This remarkable harbor village is ripe with smugglers tales and legends!

Day 5. York - Manchester
Wave goodbye to York, England's charming capital of Vikings and chocolate. Although it's your last day on tour, there's still plenty more to see! Hit the road and head to Fountains Abbey, one of the largest ruined abbeys in England and an important UNESCO Heritage Site.Â
Next, you will find yourself surrounded by some of England's most breathtaking waterfalls at Aysgarth. Treat yourself to a delicious lunch in Wensleydale, a famous cheese capital!Â
You'll travel past Ribblehead railway viaduct before checking out the old castle-topped town of Clitheroe. After that, you will arrive back in Manchester for the evening. Check into your hotel, then take a leisurely stroll around the city if you're up to it.
