Day 1. Welcome to Lisbon!
Touch down in Lisbon! Head over to your hotel and check in, get settled, and then start exploring.
Head over to the nearby Ribeira Market (Mercado da Ribeira), which is Lisbon's main food market. Downstairs you'll find a refreshing selection of local fruits and vegetables, while upstairs you'll find more modern food stalls and delectable eateries. Here you'll be able to sip on tasty Portuguese wine and munch on sweet Pastel de nata's (egg custard tarts). Rest well tonight to feel refreshed tomorrow, your first full day on vacation in Lisbon!

Day 2. Lisbon
Rise and shine, it's your first day waking up here in Lisbon! Refuel with breakfast at the hotel, and then head out to start exploring this vibrant city. There are tons of things to do in Lisbon, but for your first day, we recommend checking out the iconic Torre de Belém (Belém Tower). This 16th-century fortification was an essential embarkation and disembarkation point, and is now one of the most famous landmarks in Lisbon, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour the inside to walk through history as you discover the King's Hall, Governor's Room, and more.
Afterwards, walk about 15 minutes (or take a quick bus/tram) to check out the Jerónimos Monastery – built in 1502, this monastery is luxuriously decorated and is renowned for its brilliant Portuguese Late Gothic architecture. Tonight, you'll want to find a local restaurant to feast on Portuguese food and wine after a whole day of exploring. Saúde (Cheers)!
Day 3. Lisbon
When you travel to Lisbon, you absolutely must take a ride on the historic Tram 28. This charming yellow tram rattles through the streets of the city and goes through the most popular districts of Alfama, Graca, Baixa, and Estrela. Today, stroll around the quaint Alfama District, which is the oldest part of Lisbon! Check out the Lisbon Cathedral, enjoy views of the city from the National Pantheon atop a hill, and visit the Fado Museum to learn about the city's signature fado music.
Alternatively, you may wish to check out some iconic landmarks in Lisbon including St George’s Castle, which was built over 2,000 years ago. You can also make some aquatic friends at the Lisbon Oceanarium, go people watching in the bustling Rossio Square, and snap photos of the 18th-century Aqueduto das Águas Livres.
Tonight, hang out in Bairro Alto, which is a popular nightlife spot in Lisbon. There are plenty of bars, breweries, and places playing live music – not to mention authentic pastelaria bakeries, so go out and enjoy!
Day 4. Depart Lisbon
Your vacation in Portugal has sadly come to an end – it's time to check out of your hotel, head to the airport, and board your flight home. See you later, Lisbon!
