Day 1. Welcome to Calgary!
Touch down in Calgary! As the most populated city in Alberta, Calgary boasts huge skyscrapers, stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, and more sunny days than any other Canadian city. Pick up your rental car from the airport and settle into your comfortable hotel — your first full day of adventure starts tomorrow!
Check-in - Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

Make sure to check out the brilliant blue Moraine Lake, hike around the falls at Johnston Canyon, and relax in hot therapeutic pools at Banff Upper Hot Springs.
Day 4. Lake Louise - Jasper
Blow one last kiss to the luxurious Lake Louise, it's time to head to your cozy lodge in Jasper National Park! Settle into your accommodation and treat yourself to a superb meal at one of your hotel's gourmet restaurants, dining on Canadian delicacies while enjoying stunning lake and mountain views.

Day 6. Jasper
As one of largest and oldest national parks in Canada, there is no shortage of places to explore over the 4,200 sq. miles of mountains, lakes, and woodland. Be sure to see the magical waterfall at Maligne Canyon, spot wildlife at Moose Lake, and marvel at the snowy wings of Angel Glacier.
It's also worth hiking to witness the short (but powerful) Athabasca Falls on the Athabasca River, as well as strolling through the colorful fauna at Cavell Meadows.
Day 7. Jasper - Calgary
Take one last walk around the beautiful grounds of Jasper before heading back to Calgary. Settle into your chic hotel found in the heart of the city and explore the surrounding areas. Visit the Calgary Tower to see panoramic views of the city or walk through the Calgary Zoo to make new furry (or feathered) friends! You can also go zip-lining at WinSport Canada, home of the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, or immerse yourself in a cowboy festival held every July called Calgary Stampede.

Day 8. Calgary
If you want to experience more of Canada's great outdoors, drive south to Fish Creek Provincial Park. This large urban park offers a large woodland space with multiple walking trails along the creek. Alternatively, you can head northwest to visit Bowness Park, another urban park that's most popular for picnics. In the summer you can enjoy a fun paddleboat ride, while in the winter you can ice skate.
Fans of history should check out the The Hangar Flight Museum to learn more about Canadian aviation history, or the Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre, which includes the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Day 9. Depart Calgary
It's time to say goodbye to Canada! Pack up your souvenirs, drop off your rental car, and head back home with unforgettable memories of your trip.
